Kevin Wilson is a former Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Los Angeles Lakers (2024-25) and Oklahoma City Thunder (2022-24) in the NBA. With the Thunder and their G-League affiliate, Kevin was named G-League Strength & Conditioning Coach of the Year by the NBA’s strength coaches association. Prior to his NBA experience, Kevin worked as a strength coach and/or therapist in the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL), British Basketball League (BBL), National Basketball League of Canada (NBLC), Basketball Scotland, and privately in various clinics and gyms. Currently, Kevin is a volunteer strength coach for Canada Basketball and works in the private sector working with individuals and teams. 

Academically, Kevin has a doctorate degree in physical therapy (DPT), a masters degree in physical therapy from Glasgow Caledonian University (Scotland), a bachelors degree in Kinesiology from Brock University (Canada), and a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from Fleming College (Canada). He played on the varsity basketball teams at Brock University & Fleming College.

Kevin is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach (RSCC) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He completed the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program at McMaster University (Canada) and is a UK certified Sports Massage Therapist. He holds the performance enhancement specialist (PES) certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

Kevin currently resides in Ajax, Ontario with his wife and two daughters. He is the founder of the National Basketball Youth Mentorship Program (NBYMP), which is a Canadian non-profit organization. He also founded the Canadian Basketball Performance Network which is detailed on this website.
